Welcome to Flawed Realms—a fantasy and thriller book blog created for Gen Z and Millennial readers who love dark worlds, twisted heroines, and stories that haunt (the kind that leave you breathless and wrecked in the best way). The Realm is a fun space for the book-obsessed. Love morally gray, complex heroines? Elite boarding schools with secrets? Kingdoms with forbidden magic and ruthless queens? If you love all things bookish, then this is the place for you. Although the blog, website, and my books were designed for Gen Z and Millennials, readers of all ages are welcome in the Realm. The portal does not see age…only the hearts of those who love books.

Meet the Realm Keeper and the Wanderers of Flawed Realms
Author Lisa Alfano is the Realm Keeper. She is a plot twister, chocolate enthusiast, illustrating, book hoarder, and… the imaginationbehind the Flawed Realms universe. If you’ve already explored the magical kingdom of Iosia and The Thorne Chronicles, survived the boarding school thrillers of the PMS Girls Saga, or gotten lost in the cryptic relics and lore in Zelinda’s Vault, you’ve caught a glimpse into her creativity.
However, the Realm Keeper cannot keep Flawed Realms up and running alone. She needs help gathering the relics and legends and keeping the portals polished and ready for the next adventure. Meet the Wanderers of the Realm.
Austin is the Realm’s critic, beta reader, and the Realm Keeper’s loyal furry companion. He enjoys morally gray characters and provides thoughtful feedback (usually rewarded with treats). When not beta reading, he can be found strolling the beach or chasing squirrels.
Zelinda is the curator of lore and whisperer of secrets. She resides in the kingdom of Iosia in the Realm of the Thorne Chronicles. She is a free-spirited, experienced realm wanderer who guards the lost tales and forgotten trinkets of Flawed Realms. The Realm Keeper relies on Zelinda’s insightful and often cryptic insights. Be sure to check out the secret vault hidden beneath her curiosity shop. One never knows what magical relics are waiting, ready to share their secrets.
The final Wanderer is also a portal-hopping explorer who now calls Iosia home. Professor Chester P. Puddlewig is the historian of the Realm, Keeper of prophecies, and avid traveler. Once a wandering scholar from Oxford (circa. 1830), Professor Puddlewig is now considered the foremost authority on the tangled histories of the Realm and an invaluable fountain of knowledge for the Realm Keeper.
